The Jackals have signed center Benoit Doucet, right wing Pierre-Luc Faubert and defenseman Brandon Roach. All three will be with the Jackals when training camp begins in early October. The Jackals will serve as Ottawa’s secondary affiliate and will be the primary affiliate of the Binghamton Senators. |  |

Reed joins the organization as an account executive focusing on corporate sponsorships and ticket sales while Robbins will take over as the manager of the recreational rink at First Arena. |  |

| July 14, 2008 |  | | FORMER JACKALS DEFENSEMAN DIES IN AUTOMOBILE CRASH |  |  | | The Elmira Jackals, proud member of the ECHL, regrettably announced today that former defenseman Rob Guinn died Saturday night due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Ames, Iowa. Guinn died after another driver failed to stop at an intersection on U.S. Highway 30 in Greene County. The cars collided and Guinn’s vehicle landed in a ditch, resting on the driver’s side. Both drivers were taken to Greene County Hospital where Guinn was pronounced dead. |  |

The banquet, which annually recognizes outstanding achievement among New York state television and radio stations, was held Tuesday evening at the Sagamore Resort Hotel in Bolton Landing, New York.
