Elmira Jackals mascot "Blade" will participate in Mascot Mania, taking place on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at Wisner Park in downtown Elmira. Mascot Mania is a part of the Glove House 6th Annual BBQ in the Park.

Jackals fans are encouraged to come out and support Blade as he attempts to take first place in Mascot Mania. Fans can help Blade win the Mascot Mania challenge by making donations to Glove House.

Glove House's programs are based in five counties and serve children and family in crisis from the Southern Tier and Finger Lakes regions of New York State.

The deadline for Jackals fans to make their $100 deposit toward 2010-2011 Jackals season tickets is Tuesday, June 8 at 5 p.m. To take advantage of early bird pricing, fans may pay in full by June 8. Don't miss your chance to sit in your favorite seat for the 2010-2011 Jackals season.
