JACKALS, FIRST ARENA WELCOME FOUR TO FRONT OFFICE

The Elmira Jackals announced Tuesday that they have increased the size of their front office staff, welcoming four motivated individuals to First Arena. Andrew Kline and Marc Witt will serve as sales executives, Malcolm Smith is the Jackals' new administrative assistant and director of community relations, and Dustin Smith is the First Arena's new recreational rink manager.

Kline comes to the Jackals having recently graduated from Misericordia University, where he received a bachelor's degree in business administration. A native of Towanda, Pa., Kline was a catcher for the Misericordia baseball team.

Witt, a native of Erie, Pa., most recently worked in sales and marketing for the Erie Storm, an indoor football team. He graduated from Edinboro University in 2009 with a communications degree and hosted a show on Edinboro's college radio station called "Witt's End."

Malcolm Smith, who will be responsible for scheduling Blade's appearances and other Jackals community-related activities, most recently worked as a marketing intern for the West Virginia Power, a minor league baseball team in Charleston. He also worked as an account executive for the Jackals' AHL affiliate, the Binghamton Senators, in the 2008-2009 season. A Pittsburgh, Pa. native, Smith graduated from Colby-Sawyer College in New Hampshire with degrees in business administration and sports management.

Dustin Smith, who will oversee the First Arena Recreational Rink, holds a degree in sport management from Cazenovia College and is a Hammondsport, N.Y. native. He is a former Elmira Youth Hockey Graham Tennant Memorial Award winner.
