JACKALS GAIN GRATCHEV ENTERING WEEKEND
The Elmira Jackals announced Thursday that forward Maxime Gratchev has been returned to the team from his loan to their AHL affiliate, the Binghamton Senators. Gratchev practiced Thursday with the Jackals in preparation for Friday's game at the Johnstown Chiefs.

The Elmira Jackals announced today that they have signed defenseman Joe Grimaldi, and that goaltender Michael-Lee Teslak has been reassigned by the Philadelphia Flyers to the Adirondack Phantoms (AHL).

While rookie goaltender Pier-Olivier Pelletier played well in in his first professional start for the Elmira Jackals, the South Carolina Stingrays used two third period goals to down the Jackals 3-1 at the North Charleston Coliseum in North Charleston, S.C. on Sunday evening.

The Elmira Jackals fell behind 3-0 and 4-1 before losing 4-3 to the South Carolina Stingrays on Saturday night at the North Charleston Coliseum in North Charleston, S.C. The Jackals scored two second-period goals to make it a one goal contest, but could do no more as they fell for the second straight game.

JACKALS FALL TO CHECKERS 2-1
The Elmira Jackals were defeated on Friday night 2-1 by the Charlotte Checkers at the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, N.C. The Jackals had a second period lead, but two unanswered goals by the Checkers gave Charlotte the victory.

JACKALS WEEKLY RELEASE: 23 DAYS LATER, RECORD ACCOMPLISHED
The month of November began and ended in similar fashion, with the Elmira Jackals attempting to set an ECHL record at First Arena against the Trenton Devils. On Friday, Nov. 6, the Jackals first game of the month, they tried to tie a league record of eight wins to begin a regular season. Their bid was foiled by the Devils in overtime, the first loss of the Jackals season. However, 11 games later, the Jackals closed out the month on Sunday, Nov. 29 in record fashion in a 6-1 victory, holding the Devils to eight shots on goal, an ECHL low for a single game.

JACKALS SET ECHL RECORD IN WIN OVER DEVILS
The Elmira Jackals on Sunday afternoon set an ECHL record at First Arena, holding the Trenton Devils to eight shots on goal, the fewest ever by a team in a regular season game. The previous record for fewest shots on goal in a game was nine, registered by Bakersfield in 2004 and Arkansas in 2000.

With two sell outs this past weekend, the Elmira Jackals rolled past their 2008-2009 total of five sell-out crowds (which tied for the ECHL lead), reaching their sixth sell out in a 5-3 win against Wheeling on Saturday night at First Arena. The Jackals are drawing at 103.9% of capacity in 2009-2010, over 20% more than any team in the rest of the ECHL.
